Lab/Test Make-Up Assignments (Biology 2nd Semester)

  • Any test or lab score of 60% or lower can be made up to a maximum of 75%.
  • If the work was not turned in or the test was not taken because of an absence, the absence must be cleared. Low grades due to unexcused or truant absences will not be replaced.
  • If the student doesn’t do as well as the currently entered grade, then no change will be made. Grades cannot go down because of this opportunity.
  • Information concerning student’s grades and missing work can be viewed on the Aeries Portal located on the King High School homepage.

Tests

  • There will be one date for test make-ups: Thursday, June 8, 2017.
  • There will be no other date available. Practices, rehearsals, etc. do not count and the student will be expected to attend the make-up opportunity.
  • The make-up tests will be immediately after school at 2:45pm. Students reporting late to the make-up testing will be denied the opportunity.
  • Students will be limited to two make-up tests.
  • If there is no room remaining in the testing session, the student will be allowed to make-up the test the next day, provided they attended the first date. They will be notified at that time of the change in testing dates.
  • In order to eligible to test, you must show me that unit’s study guide with ALL of the questions completely answered on a separate sheet of paper. This must be shown to me BEFORE the test date.

Labs

  • Make-up labs will be collected on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the beginning of the student’s class period. I will not ask for them, students must bring them to me.
  • The student’s name and period must be on the front page in the top right corner
